SLS and SLES are short names of two detergents commonly used in cosmetics: sodium lauryl sulfate and ethoxylated lauryl sulfate. These are the ingredients used for decades. Contrary to rumors, myths and ordinary proper transmission, use of SLS and SLES in cosmetics have never pose a problem watchdogs safety of cosmetics.
